Articles of impeachment certainly won't pass in the Senate, and might not pass the House. I'm no fan of Trump, but believe that the current partisan gridlock is an even greater threat to our democracy than the Trump presidency. So rather than wasting valuable Congressional time on an impeachment process that has no chance of success and will simply further poison the ability for the parties to work together, I'd prefer Congress to focus on solving problems in a bipartisan manner. That will take creativity and compromise. Are they up to it?
