People should be aware of the out of pocket cost of every single procedure they are offered. They can explain to patients after given the costs what insurance will cover. That way they don't have to be surprised by their medical debt. People die in this country because they can't afford health care. Maybe if the costs are brought up front first, it will help improve pricing.
