The thing that makes me really mad here, is that helping these people has the potential to add to the defecit, but there is absolutely no way to know if those numbers are correct. Reason being, it's going on an assumption that every single dreamer will be put in welfare programs. It's infuriating to me that helping people gets put behind finances, but there is ALWAYS money to be added for war. The mass majority of our tax dollars go to fund war (SSI is not funded by taxes). But we can't make an effort to move that money to aid people who have made this country their home, on the POTENTIAL it will cost money. That hypothetical number may never be reached.
