Normal people in Mexico choose to partake in black market for drugs because Mexico’s legitimate economy is already struggling, if tariffs are placed its only going to incentivize those who can barely afford to live with a legal salary to start moving drugs to make ends meet. We need to change our approach because we’ve been trying punishment for almost 40 years and it’s still a problem today.
