People of Color, including Native Americans, are still being oppressed by a racist society. We have more citizens locked away with no intention of rehabilitation than any other nation in the world. Latino children are currently being held in prison camps because they fled violence in countries whose elections the United States meddled in since at least the 1950’s. It’s time we as a nation took responsibility for our mistakes rather than perpetuating the same old sins in different ways.
