We are a socialist country. Currently, it’s socialism for the wealthy. We have borrowed money to give the rich a tax cut. Increased deficit (debt) for future generations. Giving benefits, subsidies to people who don’t need them. This is so messed up. Workers are earning less and paying more in living expenses. These welfare rich have no understanding of living paycheck to paycheck and not having enough money to pay their bills. Inequality of money is the problem. The rich are getting richer. Middle/low wages are stalled. Our minimum wage won’t support independent living. Our retirees benefits are not keeping up with living expenses. We must have fair taxation for everyone. Our government is based on a tax system that levying tax to pay government management. Anyone earning under $35k should pay no taxes except sales tax. Minimum wage should be increased. Expand Social Security wage cap to increase recipients minimum benefits to poverty level of $12,140. We want to live in a country without hunger or homelessness. We want improved education and healthcare at reasonable cost. Congress & executive branch must do better. Socialism is not a dirty word. But it has to end for the rich. Don’t worry about socialism. Work together to improve everyone’s quality of life.
