Any thorough investigation, especially one of this magnitude, impacting national security, will have the potential to cause major issues for many of the people involved. There may be issues of national security that cannot be revealed. However, I do not believe that there is any validity to protecting any person’s or agency’s reputation. No one is above the law and if any person or person’s actions were illegal, I don’t care who they are, we have a right to know and to see those persons punished to the fullest extent of the law.
