Why not shut everything down? What I'm seeing now are remnants of the initial bill that the house passed to reopen most agencies but DHS. That bill wasn't even allowed to come up in the Senate, yet now the bill on funding CFATS passed the house. CFAT funding was part of the partial government shutdown. Also up for a vote is a bill to fund 3 other agencies that were initially in the partial government shutdown, so little by little bills seem to be being introduced as a work around, yet never really acknowledging or working to fix the problem. Why not just shut everything down? My congressmen should be embarrassed by what is happening and my house rep should be ashamed for sticking only on party lines.
