The practice of shackling pregnant assigned female at birth (afab) people as they give birth is dangerous to both mother and child. So many in this country claim to be Pro-Life and yet we continue to see policies like the shackling of afab people giving birth which increases stress on the person giving birth. Increased stress on them means higher stress on the baby which can be incredibly injurious. Please work to end this practice and truly uphold those supposed Pro-Life views.
