Yes, ONLY if they promise all children will be fully fed, despite any outstanding balance their parents or guardians haven’t paid yet. Additionally, a yes vote ONLY if the parents do not already qualify for free school lunches or have any other economic hardships which have prevented them from paying in the first place. If the outstanding balance is from a family with the means to pay without hardship, they should do so. Let’s not act heartless, but let’s have those who can afford to pay step up and clear their debt. The solution to this problem needs to have common, practical sense, but also plenty of compassion.
