No wall should be necessary if we funded personnel and equipment to enforce existing rules and regulation/laws. Trying to do it on “the cheap” is not effective. We need to invest in managing those that enter the country (and refusing those that represent a threat to the US). Countries elsewhere in the world do an effective job of tracking those that ener their borders and tracking down those that over stay their visas. Just because a process wasn’t invented here doesn't mean it couldn't be used effectively to improve our border security.
