    From what has been released, they were aware of arching power lines and instead of immediately addressing the issue they waited - they were on notice of the possibility of mass loss of life and property and must be held responsible and accountable. Granted the costs will probably be passed on to the end consumer but maybe that is a good thing; if the true cost of leaving our lights on 24/7 is reflected in our bill (the generation and delivery of said power, the upkeep of the lines, employees to make it all happen) we all might be a little more cognizant of our rampant, wasteful, and unsustainable resource use.
