I read a lot of articles on it and I feel yes. They will still have the ability to make rulings with no regard of being re-elected, which preserves the idea they are above politics while also bringing in new opinions more frequently. At the founding of our country judges were appointed and died pretty regularly, now days with modern medicine and young appointments judges are there for decades, by cutting it down to something like 28 years and a rolling pattern we could get a new justice every 4 years so the court stays fresh, relevant and an appointment isn’t as impactful so presidents don’t change the course of the judicial branch so radically.
