House Republicans are mulling the possibility of using their tax plan to eliminate the mandate under Obamacare that all people must buy health insurance. Here's how that could actually save money and reduce the overall cost of the tax plan.

The White House: President Trump in South Korea & China

\r\n

In the morning, the President delivered a speech to the National Assembly in Seoul, South Korea.
The President and the First Lady depart the Seoul National Cemetery for Osan Air Base en route to Beijing, People’s Republic of China.
After arriving in China, the President and First Lady will have tea with President Xi Jinping of People’s Republic of China and Madame Peng Liyuan, before receiving a tour of the Forbidden City and viewing an opera performance.
In the evening, the President and First Lady will have dinner with President Xi and Madame Peng.

The House of Representatives: In Session

\r\n

\nVoting on a bill to streamline permitting for hydropower projects.
\nVoting on two veterans affairs bills. One, studying the effects of the veterans crisis hotline.

The Senate: In Session

\nVoting on the confirmation of Peter Robb to be General Counsel of the National Labor Relations Board.
