The President himself has argued the weight of a president's words (ie: chastising Obama for not inserting the word "Islamic" in front of the word "terrorism.") He has never been afraid to use harsh rhetoric when it comes to terror tied to the Middle East, or immigrants who he labeled as "bad vatos", "rapists", "extremists" or women he's called "fat" and "ugly" or the media he has labeled as "fake" and "dishonest" nor has he been lenient on his own surrogates that he feels have been disloyal. His silence on condemning white supremacy on Saturday was and is deafening.
