In an unprecedented moment during the first year of an American President’s first term, Mr. President and The First Lady have added two chicks to their family.

\n\n

Observers of the nation’s capital have rarely seen such exuberance and abundance of life, as most of DC’s populous prefers to don muted colors and conservative garb. The First Lady and Mr. President’s new offspring, however, proudly display the soft white cap and staunch black feathers of America’s best known symbol, the bald eagle.

\n\n\n\n

Since becoming a father for the fourth and fifth time, Mr. President has focused primarily on catching and delivering raw fish to \"The Winging White House\", the aerie he and his mate share in the U.S. National Arboretum. Meanwhile, The First Lady has concentrated on protecting their new chicks from Washington’s unpredictable swings in weather.

\n\n

Until recently, the pair spent significant time rolling their offspring’s eggs in order to maintain an even temperature and prevent their developing eaglets from sticking to the insides of their shells. It is not known whether this habit gave rise to the traditional Easter Egg Roll, an annual event which takes place at The White House.

\n\n\n\n

This is our take at an April Fool’s post. While its contents are completely accurate, the real First Family have not announced any additions.
