I only support police reform if it ends "qualified immunity" for police officers. Officers who commit murder are currently immune from the consequences you or I would face if we shot someone in the back or knelt on the neck of someone wearing handcuffs until we killed them. Most juries would call that Murder One. But individual police officers cannot currently be held accountable, and if anyone is sued, it's the City, putting the cost for this criminal activity onto taxpayers. Police work for us, are paid by us, and need to be held accountable to us.
