“Legal” is often neither moral nor very smart. All this decision does is legitimize making religious schools hotbeds of every insidious form of discrimination. This in turn results in not schools promoting knowledge but doctrinaire prisons churning out blind, incurious, fearful and self-righteously humorless clones. I just feel sorry for the kids being indoctrinated. And this a great argument for absolutely no public money going to religious schools. Don’t expect me to subsidize your prejudices.
