I’m terrified of catching COVID-19, because if some members of my family catch this, I don’t believe they would survive it. In a NY Times podcast today, Donald G. McNeil Jr. discusses 4 new insights about COVID-19: 1.It is a vascular disease, not necessarily a respiratory disease as initially thought. 2. The virus has mutated and become much more contagious and may be becoming less deadly, although we are not seeing the deaths decrease yet. 3. The virus clings in the air in inside spaces, much longer than originally thought. This makes mask wearing imperative. 4. Very young children are not big transmitters of this virus. The implications for all of these may change some of our responses???
