I’ll vote “No way” because I don’t think the question correctly captures the matter. It’s not that “law enforcement” is too well-funded, it’s that the money goes to the wrong places. The money should be spent on psychologists, social workers, et al. in a more equitable way. I believe that law enforcement should be more than guns, armor, and bullets. We should treat minds, emotions, and cognition with equal, no, greater care than physical attributes. Too much money isn’t the issue, allocation and equity is.
