    We should definitely rename the bases after people who helped the US achieve victory. If not, we may as well rename some for Rommel, Mussolini, Goring, or Goebbels - the enemies of the US durning WWII. That would make as much sense as naming them after treasonous racists who fought against the US in the civil war! So, yes, we need to rename the bases to more appropriate allies and supporters of the United States rather than enemies of the US who we happened to name the bases after just to sear it into the minds of the freed slaves.
