I do support police reform, and allocating more funding to preventive and community services and away from police militarization. However, abolishing the police and courts seems pretty extreme. Let's follow the research first: there is a great deal of research for enacting more community programs that will reduce violence and improve public safety so that police don't need to be called. Most communities haven't tried these programs, and have instead just kept throwing money at the police. Start with following proven methods and see if that improve outcomes.
