Yes, the China Communist Party should be sanctioned for how they tried to conceal the virus. If they had been more forthright in the early stages, the global community could have been better prepared or taken steps to stop the spread. It could have saved thousands of lives. If there were individuals responsible for those choices, they should be individually sanctioned as well.
