The choices offered (Heck Yes and No Way) are a little limiting. I'm all for protecting our law enforcement from the bad guys, and our Wild West approach to gun control - Congress is afraid to ban assault weapons, silencers, armor piercing ammunition, etc. - means that police may need access to armored vehicles and other military grade gear. Unfortunately, we've already gone too far in this direction, spreading surplus armored personnel carriers and mine resistant vehicles all over the place, even to some rural and small town jurisdictions who have no need of these very expensive toys. Could we just try common sense for a bit to see how that works?
