I could right this whole huge reason as to why it makes sense to rename these places. After all even General Lee's descendants are saying "Yes, take down the statues" The confederacy is not a heritage. It's not a legacy we should be striving for. They lost their pursuit of keeping human beings as chattel and slaves. They lost the war.. end of story. sheesh. We got to stop idolizing them.
