    Surprisingly only 28 states and NYC collect, “race and ethnicity-stratified Covid-19 mortality” but based on this limited data it shows black peoples are 3.5 times as likely to contract Covid-19 in a recent study currently under peer review (links below). According to Johns Hopkins Medicine environmental factors account for this: 1) Crowded living conditions 2) Working in essential jobs 3) Inconsistent healthcare access 4) Chronic health conditions 5) Stress (income inequality, discrimination, violence & institutional racism contribute to chronic stress in people of color)
