The communication of these data highlights two critical flaws in our approach. First, presenting the information out of context is useless at best and borders on intellectual fraud. I am happy that the economy is restoring jobs, but positioning it as anything remotely positive without providing the context and backdrop of how much the loss was prior to the gain clouds the true picture. Secondly, the jobs numbers are lagging indicators more a snapshot of what was with little to no predictive efficacy for what is now or what will be in the future. So my response is devoid of emotion and looking to a time when we as a nation stop pontificating on the symptoms of our systemic issues and start eradicating some of the root causes
