As an individual of color I was targeted by the police constantly in my neighborhood. I would always comply with their demands and even then I was roughed up by them. They would rush me to the ground, put me in handcuffs, and have me completely subdued by grown men with their knees on my head, knees on my back, knees on my legs, while helicopters flew over my head and their K-9’s were barking so close to my face that I could smell their breath. Keep in mind I was in my teens weighing about 125lbs. Racial profiling and stereotyping will always exist in law enforcement. Constitutional laws and federal judges protect them.
