Under normal circumstances, I would be okay with the DOJ helping to investigate the murder of Mr. Floyd. From watching the various videos, it appears to be clear he was murdered. Mr. Floyd was a possible suspect in a non-violent crime and did not resist arrest. The office with his knee on Mr. Floyd’s neck, appears calm with his left resting on his leg. The other three officers seem unconcerned about Mr. Floyd though concerned about the citizens who were trying to intercede. This would not have happened if Mr. Floyd was a white man. I do hope that all four officers are held accountable to the full extent of the law. This behavior must stop NOW. The racism in this 21st century First World county is appalling. I had thought we were slowly becoming more civilized but was proved wrong since January 2017. The person in the WH fans the flames of racism and hate giving white supremacists, other hate groups and those that hate anyone not their race, religion, culture, ethnicity, gender or anyone else not like themselves the okay to act on their hate. I do not trust the DOJ under the WH and Barr to do what is right as their recent track record has not been good. The person in the WH’s words concerning Mr. Floyd, his family and the investigation were not sincere and I do not believe he as any empathy, compassion or understanding. The person in the WH threatened more violence and criticized the mayor of Minneapolis in a Tweet as “the very weak Radical Left Mayor.” This behavior does not try to solve problems; it makes them worse.
