    Jefferson himself believed a nation should revisit its constitution every 19 years to reflect the values of each coming generation. The Constitution was okay for the United States in 1787, but today, we see incredible problems that cannot be resolved because of the Constitution. We have the most disproportional Senatorial representation in US history, over half of the Senate represents just 18% of the population. The trend globally is that rural and suburban populations will continue to move into the cities, and if we don’t change our system of federalism, people will continue to be disenfranchised.
