    As long as there is an Electoral College to override the popular vote, then an elected "monarch" would possibly be allowed to act against the will of the people instead of for. Unfortunately we are seeing just how bad a monarchy can be, because not only Trump, but the whole of the GOP are acting in concert against the will of the people. I'm terrified of where this may be. Having checks and balances is what we need and had prior to Trump. I am sick that my representative condone Trump and are complicit in his actions.
