Marijuana is illegal in Texas for recreational use. Possession of up to two ounces is a class B misdemeanor, punishable by up to 180 days in prison and a fine of up to $2000. However, low-THC cannabis oil is permitted for medical use for certain patients with intractable epilepsy.
Some cities and counties in Texas have enacted reforms to apply lesser penalties or limit enforcement for marijuana possession, but the state law still prevails. There are also efforts to legalize marijuana in Texas, but they face strong opposition from the Republican-controlled legislature and governor.
According to a recent poll, 60% of Texans support legalizing marijuana for either medical or recreational use.

Yet seeing the utter incompetence of Texas Law Enforcement, it would not surprise me if the sheriff or deputy were there the biggest supplier.
A friend now passed suffered from severe neck pain, he was an early enroller in his local dispensary. He opted for his pot in a vape pen. I thought it hilarious.
So is even the mail order CBD with low or no THC widely available online is not legal in Texas? How regressive!
