Trump has been impeached, it is a done deal and he has been impeached now and forever. The ONLY real issue that remains is the degree of punishment required for trump’s Impeachable acts. This is a very serious issue for any trial. I cannot see any way to fairly make this determination without pertinent witness testimony and pertinent corroborating documents. To do less than hearing from from any key first hand witnesses makes any conclusive determination regarding the depth and breadth of trump’s involvement, trumps statements regarding his intent and trump’s specific directives impossible - and without first hand witness testimony and corroborating comments how can any realistic determination of appropriate punishment be determined? Any determination of not-guilty, guilty but censured or even guilty with removal, any determination at all, becomes incredibly suspect and incredibly divisive for our Country without testimony that the House was prevented from getting.
