I am disgusted by the sham trial happening in the Senate and the arguments from the president’s defense that put him above the law and allow actions that are authoritarian in nature. It would seem to me that the Senate should represent the interests of the people and that the Supreme Court justice presiding should be a guardrail for all of us. The people express more common sense than either of these ‘august’ groups. The House did their job and impeached a corrupt and out of control executive. We should expect documents and witnesses; the President has no right to deny them and put himself above the law and in a position to use any andall means to be re-elected.
