I would really have liked to believe the president did nothing wrong. That's why we wanted him to release the transcript, to send witnesses to testify to Congress, to tell us what really happened, and to cooperate with oversight so we could clear all this up. But that's not how he's acted: he has lied, hidden documents, refused to allow witnesses to show up, bullied witnesses publicly, and threatened the press and Congress. It's just like the tax returns: we believe transparency is best, and he's refused, so obviously he's hiding something. That's not "perfect".
