Dana: right on. I had a similar thought when our Chief Justice called the Senate ‘the world’s greatest deliberative body’. It does not seem that there has been much deliberation at all, the past few years. Not too much deliberation needed if most of the time is dedicated to stacking Federal Courts with mostly unqualified judicial appointments and tabling of all of the Democratic House legislation. I wouldn’t think it takes too long to suck up to their benefactors.
