I would say that our government gets 2.5 out of 5 stars. The articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump for the abuse of power and obstruction of Congress is not right. Our President has not done anything to be impeached. The actual constitution says in Article II, Section 4, says that the President, Vice President, and "all civil Officers of the United States"—which includes judges—can be impeached. Members of Congress can be expelled by their own respective body. (See Article I, Section 5, Clause 2.) When the President of the United States is tried on impeachment, the Chief Justice is to preside. The concurrence of two-thirds of the members present is necessary to convict. “The President, Vice-President, and all civil Officers of the United States shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.” History of Impeachment: The Constitution does not specify how impeachment proceedings are to be initiated. Early in our history, a Member would rise on the floor of Congress and propose an impeachment, which would then be assigned to a committee. In recent years, Members of the House Judiciary Committee have initiated the proceeding and then made recommendations for the whole House's consideration. If the House votes an impeachment resolution, the Chairman of the Judiciary Committee recommends a slate of "managers," whom the House subsequently approves by resolution, and who then become prosecutors in the trial in the Senate. The USMCA is a good idea because it pulls all three of the countries on the North American Continent to help each other out. It may not seem like much but it is. Ending the longest government shutdown was great because we ended it almost a year ago. The reason why it was started was idiotic. The government was shut down because of the dispute over border security. Our trusted government officials should have been able to figure that out without having to shut down the government. The judicial confirmations were good because the Senate has confirmed quite a lot of judges since Trump has been President. The 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund is a great idea because the victims have to lean on and always will. They have needed this for a while and now have it. Failing to comply with subpoenas is an arrestable offense. General William Barr and Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross needed to by law to comply with the subpoena. The House did their job with this one. The funding for the humanitarian crisis at the border was a good idea. With that money, we can help the immigrants at the Southern border survive and stay healthy. What the heck is a robocall scam? I have never even heard of these. I read up on this bill and I don't think we need any government-run phone company. We already have enough phone companies as it is. We don't honestly need a nuclear option right now. If we get threatened by a country that has nuclear weapons, then we need a plan, not an option. It is too early for an option in my opinion. Robert Mueller's reports being made public was the right thing to do. He was accused of something that no official should be accused of. I disagree with banning openly transgender individuals for serving in the military. Anybody should be able to serve in the military. They should not be discriminated against for who they are. Rejecting Trump's legal campaign to undermine Obamacare wasn't a good idea. Obamacare helps only a small amount of people not the country as a whole.
