The way that Trump has corrupted people brought into his orbit who had stellar reputations prior to his influence who knows what this Supreme Court will do. His and McConnell’s goal has been to remold the Court into a religious, conservative firewall against any Progressive government over the next 40 years and they are succeeding. This is the real reason McConnell will not allow Trump to be removed from office. Simply put no one knows what the conservatives on the Court will do. Roberts assertion that the Court is apolitical is a joke. Why do you think they were selected if not for their political conservative options. The question is will they protect the law or will they protect Trump. They are all members of the “Federalist Society” maybe you need to read their Charter. They are also political activists.
