There are actually people on this forum who are claiming that Sondland is a democratic holdover from the Obama administration who has had it in for Trump. It is truly scary that there are so many people hearing and spreading disinformation. For example, in this particular case, Sondland is actually the hotel magnate who donated a million dollars to the Trump campaign in 2016 and received an ambassadorship in return. No experience necessary - just another quid pro quo, if you will. A democracy truly does depend upon a well-informed electorate and we are sorely lacking in that department. Dusturbing.
