The Senate is not doing its job in part because of McConnell's unwillingness to hold the person in the White House accountable. Of course, the veto should be overturned along with all the vetos by the person in the White House who has no idea how to lead or govern; he only knows how to be a spoiled indulged child who bullies whenever he does not get his way. And unfortunately he determines what he wants are too often on his whims or based on the last person who "praised" him; he refuses to listen to advisers, read reports or in any way educate and inform himself so he could make good decision. There was no border emergency - he created a humanitarian emergency to satisfy his ego.
