Soliciting, even suggesting a foreign government investigate a rival politician for personal gain is an abuse of power. The fact that he wanted his personal lawyer involved is a flagrant abuse of power and demonstrates this was for his personal use. Trying to hide the conversation on a secret server (is it a secure server?) only makes the matter worse. Trump is guilty of violating the Constitution. Several of the charges leveled against Andrew Johnson and Richard Nixon are accurate today. 1) Making speeches with intent to "attempt to bring into disgrace, ridicule, hatred, contempt, and reproach, the Congress of the United States". I would also add Congressmen and Congresswomen! 2) Bringing disgrace and ridicule to the presidency by his aforementioned words and actions. 3) Abuse of power. Trump needs to be impeached and appear before the Senate and found guilty, You have a chance to show the world that Americans honor what the Constitution stands for and NO ONE is above the law.
