Hello, my name is James Howard. I am a 45 year old Male former smoker. I used to smoke over a pack a day for over 20 years. After multiple failed attempts to quit smoking using nicolette, the patch, and chantix, I was resigned to the fact that I would probably be a lifelong cigarette user. Then vaping came around. I was able to quit using flavored vapor and have not had a single cigarette in 7 years. It changed my life and my wife's ( also a former smoker) that we decided we wanted to help others kick the cigarette habit. We started selling these products to friends and family and were so successful at it that we now own two vapor stores in El Paso county Colorado. Over the years we have helped thousands (literally), best or at least reduce their cigarette addictions. We understand that teen vaping is a problem and have even VOLUNTARILY raised the age to purchase these products at one of our locations to 21. I honestly feel that it goes against my natural intuition because I believe if your old enough to fight and die for your country your are old enough to make your own adult decisions. Doing this does make me feel like I'm trying to be a part of the solution, not the problem. The proposed flavor ban submitted by the President and the FDA would effectively destroy the two small businesses my wife and I operate. Please help make the right choices on this subject. Prohibition does not work. Thanks for your time and please remember: I vape and I vote. James H.
