We are paying more out of pocket for medication. I worked 3 to 4 jobs at times....anything from my "real job" to working at a ice cream shop; cleaning at a motel; washing dishes ; and worked for a covenience store...our last part of our life should be easier.

I am on SSD and barely make it, when it comes to paying for my meds, I have to choose between food and my meds like others have said. It is like they are trying to kill all the older people off, what happened to taking care of our elders? Please Help US!

Because everything around us is rising in costs. Seniors live on a fixed income. Gas prices are soaring, as is food, clothes, and medicine. Also utilities.

I'm on SS, also. And in answer to Marie, we are not the 47% the candidate is talking about. We earned our SS, and paid for it working for many year. We raised our families and paid our bills, and we did not ask for a handout. There is a huge difference and I suggest that she (Marie) does her research.
