I am part Native American and I am tired of seeing the real people who discovered this contintent not Columbus getting screwed over and it's our young people paying the ultimate price for it. All that white man ever gave was diseases and war.
Thank you! I am part Cherokee, the tradition runs deep. I agree with your comment.
A'ho ! Tsalagi. <3
IT'S SAD TO SEE AND HEAR THIS GOING ON IN OUR YOUNG NATIVE PEOPLE OF TODAY, FOR THEY OUR OURS NEXT GENRATION OF TODAY, THESE YOUNG PEOPLE NEEDING PRAYERS 2 HEAL AND LOVE AND 2 FEEL SAFE..AND 2 STAY IN OUR CULTURE, AND 2 STAY WITH IN OUR NATIVE TRADISTION, IT'S IMPORTANT FOR THEM 2 KEEP THIS WITH IN THERE HARTS AND MINDS AND MOST OF ALL THERE SPIRIT AS A NATIVE FOR THEY ARE OUR NEXT UP COMEING GERATION....AND THEY JUST NEED 2 KNOW THAT THEY ARE LOVED AND WANTED.MY HART GO'S OUT 2 THEM AND MST OF ALL PRAYERS 2.
Thank you Mary, Prayers are the most help I could ever wish for when I start our Healing Journey. Thank you for joining my cause. <3 ~~^ <3 ^~~ <3
The Native People is very important for me.
On Galiano Island I know 3 people that have commit suicide. It's always hard to accept. Our duty is to give hope to the children not to discourage them with all the negativities.
People get depressed in the winter, in Canada, often due to a lack of Vitamin D. A few drops a day can make a huge difference ( I used it myself when living in Victoria)
the depression and what takes someone to suicide isn't something that a few drops of vitamin d will help. the strongest instinct a human has...before sex even...is survival. when that instinct is gone no one can help. and getting to that point is a phenomenal process of aloneness too long. good thought for seasonal depression which is very easy to correct. very easy. maybe not for those ppl...however for the real sufferers i'm afraid it won't help.
Find something you love to do when you start to feel depressed. Mine is attempting to pick up one of my musical instuments and getting lost in my music. It helps with pain too.

For GoKatsura2016 "Super Independents," it doesn't matter if one is Siberian American or not. What matters to us is that they're youth and that they're people and that they're our fellow Americans. Like our young committing suicide over government student loan debt, there is no excuse for why our youth are compelled to take their own lives in such despair and hopelessness. There must be a change of generational leadership in this nation and throughout our communities so we can have positive leadership and good role models for our youth.
Here Here :))
Thanks Ken, that is exactly what this cause is all about. My sign will read, "everyone welcome". Steven ~~^ <3 ^~~

We are losing too many young people to suicide. It has to stop, I have also lost family members to suicide.
My heart goes to the Native Americans for we the Hawaiian People have gotten the same treatment! Our beliefs are almost the same! Good luck and prayers to you and what you believe in!
I'm going to try to visit Hawai'i if I get a chance.
It will be just another stop along the way if everything goes right. <3
I am not by blood Native American.I believe your children as well as all children deserve all the help they can get .Suicide is becoming too common among our youth.Bullying is a big cause as is being different and also broken families. Our youth is our future. I think wh at you are doing is very much needed. We had a suicide in our family. What a waste of life.Blessings.
Joan...I'm sooooo sorry to hear of your loss. My heart aches for your family going through this. I have a friend whose son took his life a year ago...I can't imagine his heartache. Broken family scenario. You are right...our youth is our future and I am horrified by what our society is becoming. We as Christians need to do whatever we can to reach out to those who are troubled and pray for them.
