I hope they find a permanent cure for this toxic, painful, lethal illness. My life will never be the same due to breast cancer, not having the actual disease myself It still felt like something unreal was eating ME inside out as I witnessed first-hand my role model, best friend, inspiration & my heart deteriorate day by day, little by little until it had nothing else left to destroy. I am an empty shell, a walking being whose heart Died. This is extremely important to me because when I was 13 years old my soul was ripped from my body when I watched breast cancer viciously murder my grandmother, my role model, best friend, inspiration, my heart. After seeing her fight this deadly illness for so long & surviving many years beyond what doctor's had given her to live she then had a new title in my eyes. "MY HERO" (DARNETTA G. SMITH) "SHE BLESSED US ALL" Sept.17, 1934 - March 6, 1995 at age 60 "SHE BROKE OUR HEARTS". UNTIL WE OUR TOGETHER AGAIN MAY YOU FOREVER R.I.P. I LOVE YOU GRANDMA!
