I am not sure but i believe the next elder\s meeting is on Oct 22 - 24 to talk about the place names and bring back our true names of our tm whola the way it should be, with our language speakers help we can do this, it should be a great meeting to bear witness and know where we truly are. I strongly believe in preserving our language...as a Residential School Survivor...it was beaten out of us...therefore I never went back to Language classes or encouraged my children to learn the language either...however, this winter I've decided to participate in language classes...why? An Elder from another Nation spoke fluent Ktunaxa...felt totally embarrassed...
