Heritage and Tradition !!!!
its important to me because the American Indians are our true beginnings. They should teach their youth the native language. Keep this beautiful heritage strong! with out that we have lost more than you realize!
the country has taken away everything else from the native americans. the least we could do is preserve their language!

learn not lean
I would love to learn in my native language,, Anishinabe,,,
Any “Native” language needs to be kept by speaking it, learning it, by passing it on and continue to teach the languages so that it is not forgotten. The Native language of any Indigenous culture is how one connects to everything around them.
Because it is apart of who I am, and apart of the first ones of america, and we need to learn it more because if we don't act soon it will be a dead language.
