living in Phoenix az you would think there's not a whole lot of nature around but there is Tons of foot hills to go hiking, parks filled with lush grass, and many bike trials to lead u off the beaten path. Even in a dry Climate such as this there is much to see an Feel :)

I'm fortunate to live in Colorado, with numerous wonderful trails for hiking. Just a couple weeks ago my family and I hiked to Hanging Lake near Glenwood Springs; I would highly recommend the hike for anyone.

Breathtaking nature trails can be found in most areas local to residences of people who are interested. We do not need to plan on long vacations. I deeply enjoy the beauty of nature that abounds in Oak Openings, as well as the state and metro parks across the Maumee River from me and nearby between my home and Waterville. If we are tuned in to Nature, she will speak to us. ~Nikki

Just went camping in Big Basin State Park, CA. Such a beautiful area with gorgeous redwoods that date over 1000 years old! Best part was watching the kids make up fun games using the redwood groves around our camp site as hiding spots.

We will be taking a rode trip in August to Tenn this year. We will white water raft at the Occee River in Chattanooga, stay at a cabin at Henry Horton State Park and end our vacation with a little stop at six flags over Atlanta. During our state at the cabin we plan to hike and visit Nashville's sites.

I'm heading down to Big Sur, CA later this summer to go on my favorite hike, the Pine Ridge Trail out to Sykes Hot Springs. Beautiful hike for backpackers with great campsites along the Big Sur River.
