My son died from RX drugs, how would feel if it was your child? Shame on you, its all about the money, you guys make me sick.

I abused alcohol for 30yrs and found it had little or no effect on my heart but that it did effect my brain and mental processing so I quit and tried prescription drugs instead. They worked for a bit but have there own effects on the heart, brain and facial configuration - as in they make you look mad. I tried some hash cookies but there was no going back there either. I've come the the conclusion that I'm a slacker and a repressed polygamist who'd be better living the life of a drug free...

I've come the the conclusion that I'm a slacker and a repressed polygamist who'd be better living the life of a drug free Afro-American rapper. Other than that people need to be well partnered in sexual terms. Relationship isn't really just a matter of love - sexual mismatches can be disastrous in themselves. Mixing drinks was once recognised as a bad idea but then they added energy drinks and drugs to the mix not to mention atrocious diets and lack of exercise. Progressive gyms are good places with lots of classes for boy/girl relationship formation. People need to size one another up carefully.

In Ireland the child benefit is really a subsidy for the vintners association. Smirnoff once advertised itself as a mind altering drug to win market from ecstasy now the correlation is with pharmaceutical drugs.

I got hooked on prescription pain killers after a serious car accident and it was hell getting off them. For a retailer to promote reckless behavior in this day and age is disgusting, which is what they are doing. It stuns me that this actually was approved by their marketing department as something to carry and their legal department had no qualms about it either. Oh yeah, deregulate everything, the market will police itself - yeah, how's that working for you?

Being from Portsmouth, Ohio, a small city that has made national headlines on their prescription drug abuse of Oxycontin, Hydrocodone, and Xanax, the problem has dropped some as the 12 pill mills that were here shut down and gone. Now it seems like most users are switching to Heroin, or Meth, which are a cheaper get high drug. So it seems like if you get rid of one problem, their is something out there that they will replace it. Some user's would like to stop but they can't handle the withdraws symptoms or the mind game that comes with it. So we need to teach our children early of what drugs can do to the body and also the consequences that come with it. So 'GOD BLESS' the ones that are not here anymore because of drug addiction, and may we fight on to stop this problem in our country.

There aways will be something to replace it. It's not the fact that these drugs cause addiction, it's the fact that for the most part people don't realize these pills cause the same addiction as heroin. They get a bottle with a warning on it but everything has a warning on it. Dr.s should be educating their patients. Another issue with these drugs is how long one can be addicted to them without it being detected. By the time it does become recognizable the person is usually heavily addicted...

By the time it does become recognizable the person is usually heavily addicted and has gotten them self in serious trouble. It wouldn't be simply public drunkeness. It's usually a serious offense that forces them to rehab. Making matters worse, once a person does become clean, it's not just a matter of staying away from their "Party Friends".Most likely the person has been furthering relationships with friends and family who don't know they are high for years. Now they have to relearn how to have these relationships which can be exhausting to both sides as family and friends have been relating to and often enjoying their semi-drugged personality for years.

I've lost over 10 friends plus many acquaintances in past 5 years from prescription drug ODs! Prescription drug use should not be glorified or worse PROMOTED! Makes me sick. It's sad and most often ends tragically. I beg you to take the merchant off the shelf!

I'm so confused about the reasoning behind the marketing strategy and the differing opinions. Here's the thing, children (whom are targeted here) are being prescribed medications to enhance their performance in the classrooms. They are then subsequently prescribed medications to "bring them down" and all of these medications are RX. All are provided by well meaning parents who are being convinced it is "criminal" not to medicate their child. Then these children grow up and struggle to feel...

Then these children grow up and struggle to feel "normal" as their normal is dictated by RX drugs to begin with and then the cycle continues on another spectrum that leads to abusing medications intended to help not harm. Our children learn this from us, the adults. Urban Outfitters is capitalizing on the travesty of childhood. Should they be allowed? Should we as a society begin to question the drugging of our children? Should we as parents demand another way?

Big deal. If your child is taught well, no shirt or flask will influence that child to take drugs. THIS is a non issue! BTW, I'm 58 yrs old, liked thru all of it & survived. I have a U B Horing shirt-that doesn't influence me to sell myself! Come on!

Really Diana? I certainly hope prescription drug death never darkens your door. There are over 2 MILLION deaths contributed to prescription drugs. So you know what never mind one will come close to you at these alarming rates. So you enjoy your UB "Whoring" t-shirt at 58 years old. Wasted breath here. But worth it I feel a little better anyway.

Funny being that old, you DIDNT live through it. Try growing up in this world with rx abuse everywhere... We don't need more items to influence and promote this drug use that killed many of my friends..

BIG DEAL? Wow.. that statement made me sick to my stomach. Literally. See my page for a dose of Reality as to what is going on in the real world today. Heroin addiction starts with RX abuse. Our kids our dropping like flies. Its attitudes like that of BIG DEAL that are NOT HELPING us save lives . You can teach your child well and they can still die. That statement is a huge myth. Some of our brightest and smartest kids are dying. They are still kids with "teenage brains" . U B...

Diana Diana is just stupida stupida. Do not waste one second of your breathe trying to convince ridiculous and moronic people that the opiate addiction epidemic sweeping across this nation is in any way logically connected to how well someone parents.

You have a degree? I'm shocked! I don't have a degree and your initial Diana Diana statement certainly has you pegged as uneducated. A coroner? You see the deaths of these children and can post something as moronic as your post? You and your degree disgusts me. Please advertise who gives people like you an education so we all know where NOT to send our children.

I am extremely offended by reports that Urban Outfitters is selling merchandise with a prescription drug theme. I plead with you to remove these items from your stores, destroy the inventory and fire whatever employees decided to carry them in the first place. Furthermore, I would request that Urban Outfitters takes an active and public stand against prescription drug abuse.

I know that you want Urban Outfitters to have an element of edgy and cool. But surely you are clever enough to find a way to be edgy and cool without being cruel and evil.

Sincerely,
