With all the religious dogma to hide behind, it becomes so easy to fool the masses who can not think for themselves that it just a load of bullshit in a dress, acting like they are doing people a favour, down with all churches, I am good without a god, I know right from wrong, why can't you?

A large organization run completely by men is a recipe for disaster!

These types of bad behavior are neither Catholic, Christian or acceptable for anyone not matter what their religion is or even if they claim no religion. There are many sickos out there and we need to voice it loudly!

Maria Gabriela Ferretti

Is it true that online petitions don't count

of course they count.

We use them to make real world changes. Politicians (and hopefully Popes) see the will of the people expressed collectively and they listen. We've changed laws, ensured justice and protected people through petitions, they work really well!

That isn't true Jessica. Many world leaders have made it very clear that online petitions helped them change their position on important topics. Cynically minded people like to say that. But they're probably the same people that wouldn't lift a finger to try and help other people anyway.

I wonder how GOD feels about all of these sexual predators in the Roman Catholic Church, & then also the way they seem to 'recycle' them whenever there's a scandal?! They're a disgrace to EVERYONE!! How can they repent for something so atrocious?! IT'S DISGUSTING THAT THEY'RE BEING PROTECTED BY THE CHURCH!!!!
They're no better than any other sexual predator, so why not convict them & also sue the Roman Catholic Church?! They can afford it!!!!!!

Don't worry their god will forgive their sexual abuse, it says so in the bible, that is why it's so easy for them

He should of gone to jail, in the first place. They are a bunch of cowardly perverts. To rely on the pope is a joke.

the issue is to stop all abuse of children by anyone. lets remember that. 2 of my 3 sons were a victim of paedophile. the man worked at the school and was also the school santa. so can you imagine sitting on santa lap when he is sexually abusing you for years. i do not hate all santas but i do hate those who harm children

Mary Scaria

I think while it urgent to protect the children from the abusers - we also take in to consideration that the abusers are sick and they need to be treated too

Yes, the abusers need help but they should get help in JAIL!!!!!

Andrew Willis

Mary, we agree with you but society needs to protect itself from those who would abuse us. However you look at it putting a self confessed child molesting priest in an environment where is taking confession from children is hardly treatment - more like temptation!
